Appropriate For Ages 4 to 8 Years , comes with two books:
1) "Reading, Writing & Math, Pre-K to 1st Grade Multi-Subject Book,
2) Preschool-Grade 3, Ages 4-8 LeapPad Interactive Book, a Collection from the LeapPad Library) and at least one cartridge, which I imagine goes with the two books.
