Description

"Deer Path" was painted and donated by Diana Johnson.

It is 4.5 x 7.5 and matted, not framed (fits easily into an 11" x 14" frame)

Diana is a Freeport artist working in pastel and oil who is inspired by vibrant and harmonious places that elicit a sense of rest and rejuvenation.

Diana was in Acadia at the end of October a few years ago and saw this path that looked like it was well used by deer. 

Diana enjoys the celebratory nature of art-making and loves to encourage others to explore the visual arts.  She is recognized as a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America and has won awards for her pastel paintings.  With a degree in Art and a Master’s degree in Adult Education, Diana teaches art to adults in a variety of community settings.  Diana’s paintings are currently exhibited in galleries and can be viewed at her on-line gallery: www.dgjpaint.com
