The 8th grade students paired up for this assignment - to interpret what an environmental education can do for our Lincoln Park community. If only we could have chosen all their ideas for their class masterpiece!

One piece titled "SAVE THE BEAUTY" stood out amongst the crowd.  They have recreated the drawing in acrylic on plywood. As a statement of "environmental awareness" they tiled the piece in smashed, re-claimed bottle caps!

This mural would be an excellent addition to the environmental classroom we hope to create as part of the Greenhouse/Greenroof Project.
