Bill Cunningham, a local artist, captured his thoughtful and unique view of life in Portland, Maine through colorful paintings vibrant with life, humor and caricatures. Bill’s collection of paintings represents his passion for comic book heroes, music, movies and Portland’s Bayside community. Throughout his life, Bill donated his time and art to the community through art exhibits, side-walk art shows, children’s programs and fundraisers. Since his death in December 2006, Bill’s family continues to give back to the community by donating his art to local non-profit organizations to use in fundraisers.
