Description
Enjoy a Maine tradition by taking in a show at one of Southern Maine's most important cultural landmarks, the Ogunquit Playhouse. Opening in 1933, the playhouse is known as America's foremost summer theater. Two tickets to a 2008 mainstage show will remind you why summer in Maine is "the way life should be". Shows under consideration for 2008 include: Les Miserables, Dreamgirls, Broadway at the Beach and more!
For almost five decades, John Lane, owner and producer of the Playhouse, sought to provide his audience with the finest professional theatre in our region. Before retiring, John Lane spearheaded the effort to form a non-profit foundation to oversee the future of the Playhouse. Today the Ogunquit Playhouse Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving the Ogunquit Playhouse experience for present and future generations.
