Mount Eden Vineyards is a small, historic wine estate located on a 2000 foot peak in the Santa Cruz Mountain Range about 15 miles from the Pacific Ocean. Founded in 1942, it is recognized as one of the original "boutique" California Winery properties.  This 2004 Chardonnay rated 89 points from Robert Parker Jr.'s The Wine Advocate and "reveals copious quantities of tropical fruits and honeysuckle in a full-bodied, fruit driven, satisfying, rich, well-made style."
