The Rafanelli family is now in its fourth generation of growing grapes and making wine in the Dry Creek Valley. The winery is small and family-operated and the focus has always been on quality over quantity. This wine is smooth and spicy, with well integrated tannins and pretty black cherry and currant flavors.  Picks up spicy anise, herb and cedary notes on a long, complex finish. Drink now through 2009.
