Do you avoid a ski weekend because of the horrors of Tahoe traffic? Wouldn't you love to stay in a place on this side of Donner Summit? Are you worried that global warming will soon render ski resorts a thing of the past? If you answered affirmatively to any of these questions, the following is the important one-Are you ready to schuss with the Power Powder Meisters?

Four lucky Upper School boys (grades 6-8) and/or adults will have the fabulous opportunity to hit the slopes with CSB's very own Dirk (Jonny Mosely) Tacke and Liz (Picabo Street) Kaufman. Your nights will be spent in the charming lakeside home of Kristy and Matt Leffers at Serene Lakes (next to Sugar Bowl and Royal Gorge).

In addition to downhill skiing and boarding, there is sledding and cross country skiing. There are numerous après ski activities though swimming is not recommended as the lake will be frozen. (Plus the home has a hot tub and sauna for post-slope relaxation!) Boys/adults must have intermediate skiing or boarding experience (well beyond the pizza and French fries level) and should bring their own equipment as plans are to hit the slopes early with no time for renting.
