Description

Remember what summer is supposed to be like? Long lazy days of endless outdoor fun in the hot sun... Remember how it feels to be stuck in San Francisco in the fog hoping the temperature tops 60? Don't despair-your fog-weary family can flee SF's summer chill for the hot days and crisp nights of the Sierras. Spend a glorious sun-drenched week at a spacious mountain home of surpassing style and comfort in Squaw Valley.

Ever wondered what Shirley Lake looks like without all that snow? It's beautiful, as is the entire Tahoe basin without the frozen white stuff. Ride the Cable Car up the mountain for swimming, ice skating, concerts and more. Enjoy an exhilarating hike down the trail you skied in February. Take a refreshing dip in the lake before you descend so you can think back on the water fight you had when you're on the chairlift next year. Summertime in Lake Tahoe/Squaw Valley offers loads of fun-filled surprises that you can't experience in winter. Grab your bikes and pedal down to Tahoe City on the bike path, marveling at the wildlife you see along the way. Book a rafting trip down the Truckee River and shoot class 2 and 3 rapids as you splash through the white water. To make your stay even more carefree, "my tahoe chef" will provide a catered gourmet dinner for four or lunch for eight delivered lake-side.

Explore the virtually unlimited hiking, biking and day-tripping through Tahoe's spectacular natural landscape and indulge in the world class dining and shopping the region offers. In the evenings, watch the sun set over the valley from the deck Jacuzzi and soak in the serenity... Enjoy all this for one week during the summer 2007 in a 4 bedroom, 4 ½ bath home located in a quiet cul-de-sac in Squaw Valley.
