This year's 4th Grade Class Gift is one of community service--serving both our school and our city. It requests a contribution from both parents and sons. Parents and other individuals make a pledge to CSB and the boys make a pledge to participate in a day of community service, doing habitat restoration at Crissy Field in the Presidio. Your contribution supports programs, facility upgrades and extracurricular enhancements at CSB, and a 4th grade student will return the favor with a day of his time and effort. You may even join in and add community-building to the benefits of this unique Class Gift! The goal of Habitat Restoration is to engage community members in the management and enhancement of the park. Volunteers will meet a Presidio Park Steward at Crissy Field on Saturday, May 19th for education, instruction and supervision in the restoration activities. Come out and explore beautiful areas while assisting in invasive plant removal, outplanting of native plants, and seed collection.
