This necklace was created especially for the Glaucoma Research Foundation's auction, and is housed in a classic black leather display chest. The pearls were personally selected by the donor to insure a lovely matched set with each pearl measuring 8.0 - 8.5 mm. They each have a beautiful luster and a quality known as Japanese Beetle iridescence. The strand measures 18", is strung on corded silk and knotted between each pearl, and closes with a 14 carat filigree gold clasp. This item will be a featured item at the Silent Auction at the 2008 Benefit on January 23rd.
