Description

A must have for the collector from our donor's private collection. For the chronograph aficionado, the timepiece is the coveted "San Marco" version of the GMT +/_ Big Date watch. Lovingly maintained, this model features a sapphire crystal, blue Guilloché dial, the coveted San Marco case back, and blue leather strap with a tang-type buckle. The dial face uses Roman numerals, index markers, big date display and dual time zone feature. The watch is water resistant to 100 meters, and carries a 42-hour power reserve.

The Ulysse Nardin GMT +/- Big Date watch displays classically fine craftsmanship with the mechanical ingenuity for which the House of Ulysse Nardin is famous, resulting a watch ideal for travel or business. Utilizing a selfwinding movement that has been carefully adjusted for maximum precision, the watchmakers of the House have incorporated a unique patented mechanism which allows for the hour hand to be adjusted forwards as well as backwards, independent of the seconds or minute hand. A window display indicates the home time, for easy reference. Unique to the GMT +/- Big Date watch collection is the use of a dual disc date display which eliminates the need for any magnification, and also allows easy adjustment both forwards and backwards, as needed.
