An Evening on the Wine Train with Tom and Wallace Brunner

Item Number: 401
Time Left: CLOSED

Description
How often have you thought I'd like to sit down one on one with Tom Brunner? Well now you can on the Napa Valley Wine Train during an evening of wining and dining.
The Wine Train travels a rail line built in 1847 by 49'er millionaire, Samuel Brannan to take visitors to his 'resort', Calistoga. The excursion is three relaxing hours, a 36- mile round-trip between the historic town of Napa through one of the world's most famous wine valleys to the quaint village of St. Helena and back. Passengers enjoy moonlit views of the vineyards and winery views from any of the vintage 1915-1947 Pullman Dining, Lounge or Vista Dome Rail Cars which have been lavishly restored beyond even their original decor.
Menus feature such scrumptious choices as seared foie gras au poivre and Dungeness crab cake appetizers and delectable entreés including macadamia encrusted double lamb chop or Indonesian pepper encrusted Muscovy duck breast. And that's not all, each course has a recommended wine!
Rated one of the 20 best railway experiences by The Society of International Railway Travelers, the Wine Train leaves from 1275 McKinstry Street in Napa, California. Station check-in is at 5:30 PM, and the train leaves the station at 6:30 PM.
