Iron Chef's Cat Cora Cat Cora was raised in a small Greek community in Jackson, Miss., by a family who held strongly to their Greek and southern heritage, which included traditions, celebrations and food. In the Cora family, it was common to eat spices from the south, as well as fresh sheep and goat cheeses and home-cured olives sent by relatives from the island of Skopelos.
Kathleen Daeleman has set herself apart with her "Cooking Thin" When it comes to healthy cooking and eating, Daelemans is "her own best advertisement," having lost 75 pounds when creating a new regional cuisine for one of the world's most luxurious five-star resort and spa, the Grand Wailea, in Maui, Hawaii. Named one of the country's "Top Ten Rising Star Chefs" by John Mariani, chef Kathleen Daelemans' recipes have been showcased in respected food and wine journals including Bon Appétit, Wine Spectator, Gourmet, Food & Wine, and Eating Well.
Ruta Kahate teaches regional Indian cooking from her home-based school in Oakland, California, which has been featured on the Fine Living Network. Susie Cushner is a Boston-based photographer whose work can be found in many cookbooks, including Martha's Vineyard Table and The New England Table.
