Description
I traveled to Barbados for a half marathon. After much cajoling, I convinced my non-running wife, Saundra, to train for and race in the 10km. For three months she trained diligently and although she struggled at times from the heat, she finished the race with a huge smile and feeling of joy that every first time finisher feels. This picture, 100m from the finish captured the essence of her joy and accomplishment.
