Guitarist Marc Ribot has recorded and performed with Elvis Costello, Marianne Faithful, Wilson Picket, T-Bone Burnett and Tom Waits. Ribot, a former member of the Lounge Lizards, blends classic Blues guitar with the No Wave aesthetic. His Los Cubanos Postizos interpreted material by the great Cuban songwriter Arsenio Rodriguez. Ribot's new, critically-acclaimed Spiritual Unity project is based on the works of Albert Ayler, and was named one of All About Jazz's 2005 "Albums of the Year."
Ribot has generously composed a unique ringtone for ACO's auction.
