Patsel's Restaurant, Glenburn, PA, not only offers superb dining for the gourmet; it provides "cultural cuisine" for art lovers and style seekers alike.

According to owners Pat and John Atkins of Waverly, PA, Patsel's, which opened Aug. 31, 1999, is designed to provide elegant respite and unexpected delight. From it's eye-catching exterior paint work and commissioned artwork to its children's area and whimsical décor, the restaurant offers something different at every turn. "We want our restaurant to be a delight for the whole family," said Pat, adding, "our goal is to make you smile and be happy."

In addition to the main dining room, Patsel's includes a private dining and meeting area, bar and lounge area, patio and children's room. A feast for all the senses, the restaurant offers inspired food and impeccable service, rich architectural and interior treatments, scintillating decor, exquisite table appointments, original artwork and beautifully landscaped flower and herb gardens.

Chef Michael Bodner and his staff prepare an array of delightful dishes best described as "creative American cuisine." They take the best of American fare and infuse it with the colors and flavors of Mediterranean, Asian, Continental and Southwestern cooking. Menu selections change monthly in order for Bodner and his staff to utilize the freshest ingredients and to highlight seasonal foods. A children's menu also is available, as is a unique children's room called Patsel's Too.

Patsel's Too is a dining and activity area where children can play together and participate in activities under the supervision of a qualified staff. This enables parents to dine leisurely while their children are eating and being cared for nearby.

Among the more noteworthy features of Patsel's restaurant are: custom-made, hand painted window frames and bar; a Raku ceramic tile wall mural; Venetian glass light fixtures; an antique tile ceiling; custom-made furniture and a four seasons garden.
