Chrissy Miller has grown up in Southern Maryland, specifically Calvert County. Raised in Huntingtown, she began her pursuit of her art career at a very early age. During her senior year at Northern High School, she received the Calvert County Artist Guild Scholarship and earned her B.S. in Art Education from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Chrissy currently teaches art at The Calverton School in Huntingtown, Maryland. The things she cherishes most; her family and her environment inspire Chrissys personal works of art. She specializes in pastels, but also enjoys painting murals and furnishings. She says, "I strive to catch the truth and beauty of life in art. I want people to be moved when they look at my pieces."
