This Eastern Orthodox box is a one-of-a-kind work of art!  Beautifully handpainted with the Icon of Mother and Child, this box features gold leaf halos, gold leaf and silver design on all four sides of the lacquered box, and gold leaf in the garments.   Great for an art display or to hold a special teasure.  Inside the lid is a painted inscription of authenticity.  Approximate size is 5"X6" and 2 1/2" deep.
