The baseball equivalent of a grand slam, Alec's 2004 bottling is an out-of-the-park delicious blend of 70% Syrah and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Packed with wild blackberry and seductive, cedar-laced oak and spices, the wine has a deeply fruited core enhanced with violets, vanilla and cocoa. Rich and thickly textured with great weight and balance, the wine is framed with chewy, chocolately tannins. 450 cases produced -- sold out
