Over the years Julia Hayhurst has used oils, acrylics, watercolors, ceramics, mixed media and bronze casting to her create art. She has exhibited and sold works through the San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art and Frames & Fine Things. Her pieces are now in collections throughout California and in Australia, where three of her bronze sculptures are part of a private collection. Julia’s talent as an artist has been recognized and resulted in numerous awards in art shows.

Her formal education is a compilation of courses in the Graphic Design Program and Art Extension classes at UCSC as well as a travel abroad watercolor program experience to France also through UCSC.
