India Ramacher has always had busy hands. She loves sewing costumes, puppets, quilts and clothing. As an actress she has spent many years performing at Delta College and Stockton Civic Theatre and she worked with the New Dance Co., as a performer and production designer for “The Rainbow Goblins.”

India has been painting “festive furniture” (and just about everything else!) for about 15 years at her Blue Moon Studio. She sums up her inspiration and reason for painting with, “The world is entirely too beige.”

A New York transplant, India has lived in California for 30 years, where she has worn many hats – and made hats as well!
