Daydreaming

Description
I am currently an Art Teacher at Weber Institute and a professional freelance artist. The design on my violin was inspired by listening to classical music.
Plants and geometric designs mesh together to give a sensation of a very fanciful and unique place. The patina of the original violin has been left untouched. The worn out surface shows the impact of almost 300 years of human touch contact. This violin is a relic in a sense because of its age; it’s a 1712 German violin. I almost feel guilty about carving and adding India ink to it.
It is my hope that my design complements the violin’s beauty.
