This piece of art represents the path that men take. The path that is the same for all.

The ceiling of the Sistine Chapel depicts all of man; the steps represent the path they take down to earth and back to heaven, which is what my project represents. Although everyone is different, from the suit and tie conservative to the tie-dyed individualist, the staircase is the commonality that shows that we all come from a creator and we all share the same path. I’d like to think of myself as the ultimate creator of this project, similar to Michelangelo was to the Sistine Chapel.
