The Merce Cunningham Dance Company returns for the Minnesota premiere of Views on Stage, a work commissioned by the College of Saint Benedict. In Views on Stage, Cunningham collaborated for the first time with Brazilian sculptor Ernesto Neto, best known for his ceiling-to-floor sculptural shapes. Flowing stalactites change with every subtle transition in lighting. This marks the company's fifth appearance at the college beginning with their first performance here in the 1960s.
