On a trip to Milan, Karen Essex visited Leonardo's The Last Supper, which can only be seen by appointment. After everyone left the room, Essex remained, strangely drawn to a ghostly figure kneeling in prayer in the mural on the opposite wall, a Crucifixion scene by a lesser known artist.
