Steven Taras, owner of Watered Garden Florist, has been in the floral industry for 16 years. He began his career in the wholesale flower market as a buyer. Later, he opened Watered Garden Florist and has been successfully producing beautiful floral designs for events and weddings throughout the Triangle area and beyond. His design talents and uncanny ability to interpret a client's wishes have taken Watered Garden Florist to many venues on the Eastern seaboard and as far away as Chicago and Minneapolis.

Kathy Herdrich moved to North Carolina after 35 years as a designer in a retail flower business on Chicago's north shore. The Crest of Fine Flowers was a small but formidable shop where she worked for 25 years and then owned for 10 years. This 52 year old establishment was well known for its creative event design. Among its clients were many prominent Chicago citizens and cultural institutions.
