Here is a stunning, one-of-a-kind piece of handcrafted furniture made by its donor, David Meiklem of Narragansett. It’s item # 464, a $575 value. David Meiklem has been creating custom furniture since 1971, with his work featured in “fine woodworking” magazine and in homes and offices all over the country. Many of his creations will be displayed this summer in Connecticut, at the Mieklem kiln works gallery. This chair, built especially for the auction, is made of walnut grown in Norwich, Connecticut.
