About Kelly Reno: "My work is inspired by places I've been and things that I've seen, from as close as across the street to as far away as Prague. What makes a place worth capturing isn't so much where it is, but the way the light strikes it, or the composition of the scene; the way a structure works in it's space. It could be something as simple as the colors of wet cobblestone, or by the bend of a tree. It usually starts with a photograph, and a painting is born from that. The intent is a recreation and a sharing of the feeling the moment I took the photograph."
