Description

A native Texan, Forrest Gregg was the Green Bay Packers' No. 2 draft pick in 1956. Gregg earned an "iron-man" tag by playing in a then-league record 188 consecutive games from 1956 until 1971, his final season, which he spent with the Super Bowl-bound Dallas Cowboys. He won All-NFL acclaim eight straight years from 1960 through 1967 and was selected to play in nine Pro Bowls. Gregg was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1977. Forrest Gregg has hand signed this 16x20 photograph of him covered in mud while on the sidelines during a Packers-49ers game held in San Francisco on December 10, 1960. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
