M. Christopher Jones Photography offers a 5-inch by 7-inch print matted on 11-inch by 14-inch board titled "Geese at Marketplace Mall". You sometimes find interesting shots in the most unexpected places. The crowded restaurants and endless strip malls of Henrietta, New York would seem an unlikely place for a scenic picture. But this shot of geese against the backdrop of Marketplace Mall seemed like a good one. I would like to say that the repose of the geese in the very last moments of the day suggested to me how the beauty of the natural world continues to shine through in spite of our attempts to dwarf and uglify it with commerce and industry. But, to tell the truth, this idea occurred to me only after I took the shot.
