One Zenith HDV420 high definition television receiver (tuner) and indoor antenna, virtually unused.  Includes remote control, instruction booklet, and two sets of cables.  Warranty has expired, but Lowell will issue a 60-day guarantee that it works.  Many large-screen televisions are sold as “HD ready.”  They cannot receive high-definition signals without either a “cable box” or a high-definition tuner like this.  If you have such a TV, you do not subscribe to cable, and you have good over-the-air reception of television channels, this receiver could fit your needs.  It is capable of receiving the high definition channels broadcast by our local stations (channels 4, 5, 7, 9, and possibly 26).  Some will find it most useful for sports, which are increasingly broadcast in high-def.  This receiver is not for use with cable systems or satellite TV.  It is not a Tivo; it has no recording capability.  And it should not be confused with cards that people add to their computers in order to receive television on their computer.
