Five hours of consultation with Douglas Richmond Architects in Brunswick. DRA maintains a varied practice of new, renovation/addition, and historical projects. These buildings inform the breadth of their architectural knowledge and enrich each succeeding project. Each design responds to unique landscapes, client interests/tastes, and our capability to synthesize these variables into an aesthetic whole. DRA welcomes involved owners who want to distinguish their building aesthetically while accommodating individual aspirations within functional and budgetary requirements. Last year's winners, Rick and Rosemary Osann, purchased some property in Bar Harbor and worked with Douglas Richmond Architects to begin developing plans for a vacation and retirement home we plan to build there. In a very short amount of time, Douglas helped us define our goals and put some ideas on paper to help us visualize what this house might look like and how much we could fit into our limited space and budget.
