The Sea Dog in Topsham occupies a scenic spot on the Androscoggin River and serves a full menu of handcrafted ales and creative pub fare with a flair that captures the spirit of Maine's sea-faring history.

The Sea Dog Brewing Company and our beers are unique within the American craft brewing movement. Our beers are formulated and brewed in a traditional style using regionally appropriate ingredients such as imported English two-row malted barley for the ales and imported German hops and grains for our lagers. Fermentation is also done in a traditional manner using a British top-fermenting yeast in open fermenters to create a balanced and fruity flavored ale with a crisp finish, unique to true top-fermented beers. We are one of the few craft breweries in New England brewing both traditional ales and lagers.
