This piece of folk art is a Hmong Story Cloth acquired in Northern Thailand in 1991.  It, and story cloths like it, are completely hand embroidered by the primitive Hmong Tribes people who live without borders in Golden Triangle area of South East Asia - Myanmar (formerly Burma), Laos, and Thailand.  What an amazing piece to display in your home and talk about.
