K. Page & Sleepwalker’s Parade makes eclectic avant-pop for thinking folks, with comparison’s being drawn to Annie Lennox, Bjork, Patti Smith and Nina Simone. The band works against a backbone of taut and intelligent lyrics to combine jazz styling and harmonic structure with rhythms that move from rock to trip hop to bent- up bossa.
