Noush Skaugen is nominated for three 2007 Los Angeles Music Awards: Best Alternative Song, Best Female Singer/Songwriter, and Best Live Performance.
Since the release of Palomino, the Swedish-born and UK-raised singer and songwriter has been the subject of media and critical attention. She debuted on Sirius Satellite Radio’s Sirius Stars 102’s Pacific Coast Hellway, where host Mark Yoshimoto Nemcoff said she was “possibly the best singer you haven’t heard yet.”
National music magazine No Cover included Skaugen in their “Bands to Watch” listing (where Blink 182 once appeared) and included her on their No Cover Groupies Suck #10 compilation, which was introduced at the SXSW Music Festival.
