Description

Weaver Sarah Warren, a member of the League of N.H. Craftsmen, creates her tapestries on Macomber looms in her studio at the foot of the Northern Presidential Range in New Hampshire.

Her approach is grounded in contemporary Southwestern techniques with roots in centuries-old Navajo and Hispanic traditions; her style is influenced by landscapes and skyscapes shaped by mounts Madison, Adams, Jefferson, Washington and Monroe.

This tapestry features earthy browns and blues with striking silouettes of birds soaring in flight.  It is 14.5" x 23.5" and includes a metal rod for hanging.
