Lynne Taetzsch was born and raised in northern New Jersey. She studied art at Rutgers University, the Univeristy of Southern California, the University of California, and Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York City. Her years at Cooper Union had the biggest influence on her art. It was during those years that her work gradually became more abstract as she experimented with collage materials in an intense focus on composition. Lynne's work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions in galleries and museums throughout the United States and abroad. .
