This Giclee of an original oil painting entitled "Winter Night" is numbered and signed by artist Juls Buehrer. A landscape immersed in deep blues, this work gives one a glimpse into winter twilight. As the sun sets, it leaves in its wake a cool blanket of snow, a stand of bare trees, and a field beyond. The tone is desolate and yet serene.
Special Instructions
Framed using Conservation materials and UV glass; measures approximately 21 x 14 inches matted in white with a black wood frame. Juls Buehrer has been living and working in Ithaca for the past three years. She moved there after graduating from Penn State University, where she studied the fine arts and scene painting for theater. She is currently working at the Corner's Gallery, painting sets for Kitchen Theater, and trying to break into the world of children's book illustration. She has participated in the Ithaca Artist's Market for the last two years and hopes to do so again this year.
