Special Instructions
Measures 19 x 10 1/4 inches. Glen H. Fellows is a member of the Artisan's Guild in Oneonta, N.Y. Fellows handcrafted this bowl without using power tools, a more rugged and simple artistic approach. As a painter has a unique stroke, the carver has an equally unique mark. The artist has to take into account the living wood, its special character, its weaknesses and strengths. By simply sealing the wood with bee's wax and mineral oil, you bring out the character of the unique piece of wood. The finished piece comes across as primitive, yet beautiful.
