Description
Artist Alice Horrigan titles this piece "Vinifera" for her inspiration from the Finger Lakes wineries with their bold twisting vines and colors of lake blue, sunset teal, and harvest yellow. These hues have been created by fusing and grinding glass, and the end result is this 2 inch long contemporary pendant which is attached to a sterling silver slide and stainless-steel choker. Add pizzazz to any outfit!
Special Instructions
Alice lends portability to the splendor of the Finger Lakes by fusing and grinding glass into luxury pendants. She designs for versatility and creativity, imparting substantial size and weight to make the pieces as luxurious to hold as they are to view. Alice intentionally makes the pendants larger than most other glass jewelry to give people the pleasurable experience of holding smooth glass. Her work currently is shown and sold at two prominent area galleries: Craft Company No. 6 in Rochester and Skyland Farm Gallery on Seneca Lake.
