Description
"Transformation I, II, and III" comprise a triptych intended by the artist to express hope for dealing with grief. Done in a style described by the artist as "contemporary romanticism", this work relies on subtle symbolism to tell a story to the viewer. In this piece you see a woman on the far edge of the canvas as feathers form a trail behind her. The viewer wonders what she is leaving behind as she moves forward off the edge. Each of the three pieces measures 27 x 42 inches.

A triptych is an artwork that is divided into three sections or panels which are meant to be displayed together. Robin "Felix" Eddy grew up in a small rural town just outside of Buffalo, NY. From a very early age, Robin drew her beloved cats, rabbits, or fantasy animals. She drew comics for her friends and took the pen name "Felix", which became her nickname. She designed posters, sets, and t-shirts for school functions, did freelance artwork for "The Buffalo News" section for young adults, and worked as an assistant teacher at summer art camps and a YMCA camp in New Hampshire.
