This oil painting was inspired by a location in Tioga County. It shows pumpkins being readied for the fall season. The artist has a very representational, yet painterly style. He uses a palette of wonderfully bold colors. His use of contrast brings this piece to life.

Measures 34 x 28 inches. Richard Henry is a local painter who is also a graphic designer at Lockheed Martin in Owego, N.Y. His work has been displayed at the West End Gallery along with other galleries in the Finger Lakes Region. His subjects focus on landscapes and genre scenes. Richard works with watercolor, acrylics, oil paints, and graphite.
