Description

This piece was created by artist Elizabeth Nields. The exterior of the piece has a stippled effect and is glazed in blue and brown. Two female nudes are sketched into the clay and are highlighted with a milky-white glaze. The same glaze coats the interior of the pot.

Special Instructions

Measures 10 1/2 inches tall x 6 1/4 inches in diameter. Elizabeth Nields is a ceramics professor at Hartwick College. Many of her works reflect the human form, and some are reminiscent of "standing stones". Many of her pieces are in collections at various galleries as well as the Patrick Lannan Foundation Museum in Florida and the collection of Mary McFadden in New York City.
