Description
This 10-inch decorative bottle is a beautiful example of the Japanese art of Raku, where the pot is pulled from the kiln and quickly buried in straw, leaves, and sawdust. The result is many wonderful patterns and colors of reds, greens, and golds. Artist Sunny Leinhart especially likes the lightening-bolt effect on one side of this piece.
This is a Live Event Item.
Special Instructions
Sunny is associated with Smithy-Pioneer Gallery in Cooperstown. She enjoys the Raku firing process, as it's very spontaneous and unpredictable.
