Artist Lawrence Guidici emulates the undulating forms of organic marble in this beautiful work titled "Tuscan Study". A type of Venetian plaster technique was used to achieve a highly textural surface of natural colors. The ochers, rusts, and umbers of Italy combined with the cracks and fissures of the plaster to bring to this work a truly "Old World" feel.
