The viewer is drawn into the artist's interpretation of a field of horses in "Equi-nox". This work is a compelling piece done by the process of stone lithography by artist Theresa Hoysic. It is matted with an off-white mat and wooden frame and measures 11 x 9 inches.

This is a Live Event Item.

Special Instructions

Stone lithography is a process in which a grease-like substance is used to create an image on an engraving stone, usually polished limestone. When water is applied, it adheres to the stone, but ink adheres to the grease. The background of the image is etched into the stone. It takes several steps to prepare the image to print by placing paper on the stone and applying pressure.
