Description

Blondie has been as much a part of your morning as the cup of coffee you drink. Now is your opportunity to own a piece of this quintessentially American comic. This autographed original strip bears the signatures of both Dean Young and John Marshall. It was beautifully framed by Frame to Please in Endicott in a dark silver frame with a floating mount. Its finished measurement is 14 x 24 1/2 inches.

This is a Live Event Item.

Special Instructions

John Marshall began his cartooning career at the age of 14. At the urging of his grandmother, he sent some cartoons to Parade magazine where, to his surprise, he sold one. A few years later, he sold one to the Saturday Evening Post. After graduating with honors from Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida, in 1976, John worked at a Binghamton, NY, advertising agency as an art director, until he decided to take the plunge into uncertainty and become a freelance illustrator and cartoonist. Some of his many clients over the years included IBM and GE. In 1982, he created the syndicated comic strip, "Buford". See wskg.com for 'Pick Up And Pay' information.
