Description

As we waited on our IRS ruling, a story was written. It presented a child'd tale of being one among the 25,000 refugees trapped inside the miserable surroundings of the New Orleans' football stadium; a night no child would elect to be in during those first few nights of Katrina.

Chris Dontigney was asked to read the story and then create a picture that best depicts it -- she met expectations and then some. Her pictures reflects the weight of sadness that everyone was feeling.

Special Instructions

Pictured is the oversize frame hanging on a wall of the castle, which belongs to the storks of Castle Land; this picture changes when trouble brews, showing the storks where.

Chelsea the stork looks and sees a city he loves. He knows that for too long, too many adults failed to be ants, shoring the levies; they would fail a result of the rain and great sadness will follow.
